Sommerberg rescue tunnel - official breakthrough

On March 19, 2024, the symbolic tunnel breakthrough of the rescue tunnel on the Sommerberg took place together with the head of the Freiburg Regional Council Ingo Hugle, the mayor of Hausach Wolfgang Hermann and the tunnel sponsor Nadine Hermann.

BEMO was represented by division manager Martin Fischer.

The breakthrough was duly celebrated after the official part of the ceremony with numerous guests and all those involved in the project.
