Construction of a new parallel escape gallery with 8 crosspassages (CP) to the existing road tunnel. 1 crosspassage to the underground control room.
Escape gallery length: 992 m
Total length of 9 CP: ca. 300 m
Cross-section: ca. 13 – 26 m²
Excavation: drill & blast (ca. 21,000 m³)
Design: shotcrete support, shotcrete lining / sprayed concrete lining, shotcrete (ca. 6,000 m³) lining, reinforcement steel (ca. 75 t), invert arch / base slab (not reinforced ca. 1,000 m³), area wise installation of in-situ concrete secondary lining (reinforced concrete: 1,000 m³), cable protection tubes (ca. 12,800 m), open cut works
