A few meters non cohesive filling; underneath alternately arranged till, fine and semi-fine sands as well as silty and sandy basin sediments

Technical Data

Within the expansion works at the Kiel-Canal building safeguards of
the southerly abutment are necessary at the Levensauer Bridge by construction of 36 large bored piles as well as the construction of
• a solid top plate incl. permanent back anchor
• a working level based on 101 GEWI-piles
• two back-anchored soldier-pile-walls in the building pit including shotcrete infill.
Drilling works:
• large bored piles, stabilised by bentonite 36 pieces
Ø = 1.50 m, Length 35.25 m
partly construction under height restriction 7.5 m (using grab dredgers)
• GEWI-piles (working level) 101 pieces
Ø = 50 mm, Length 14.5 m
• 9 permanent strand anchors 68 pieces
Length up to 37 m
• 4 permanent strand anchors 68 pieces
Length up to 28 m
Other works:
• soldier-pile-walls with shotcrete infilling 350 m²
• using in-situ concrete for bulky components
according to the ZTV-ING 900 m³
• extensive demolition-/ earth works in compliance with environmental requirements/standards
