Northern Limestone Alps
Mainly carbonate rocks of the middle and upper Trias.
Predonderant nature of mountain:
Hillside debris/rubble (little in portal area); dolomite (ranging from low to heavily fragmented), Limestone (bulky up to heavily fragmented);
Shale / clay marl, Windischgarstener disturbance (mainly Speringtunnel)

Completion Tunnelkette Klaus:
Completion of the A9 Pyhrn-motorway within km 27.9+40 and 36.5+50 with creation of additional escape and emergency ways while ongoing traffic.

Speringtunnel Easttube total length: 2,894 m
